Job Description

Are you motivated to deliver great provision which offers informal education, engaging activities and a safe inclusive environment? Do you have good knowledge and understanding of North Manchester?

Harpurhey Neighbourhood Project is a grassroots charity delivering a range of services and activities to local communities which are all firmly rooted in our core values: Being community focused, providing opportunities for all, Helping people help themselves, Unlocking potential, Supporting and nurturing and Bridging gaps.

  • 16 hours per week
  • £13.74 per hour (£25k pro rata)
  • Generous holiday allowance plus bank holidays
  • Some evening and weekend work Training and development opportunities throughout employment
  • Professional mentor available

Skills and Experience

  • Friendly and outgoing personality able to build and maintain relationships with local community members and external organisations
  • Passion and experience of working within a community setting and/or with young people
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of North Manchester
  • Understanding and commitment to contextual safeguarding
