Harpurhey Neighbourhood Project is a voluntary organisation which supports community activity in Harpurhey. We do this by encouraging and supporting individuals, families, small businesses and grass roots community organisations and by managing the Neighbourhood Centre, a venue for a variety of activities and a base for a number of local groups.
Through attracting resources and funding into the area, by offering advice, advocacy and learning opportunities and through building networks we aim to meet the needs and aspirations of the community and address local issues.
Since 1977 we have helped many individuals and organisations to reach their potential through the use of our resources, including The Centre. During this time there have been changes to what we do and how we have done it but our aim throughout HNP's existence has been to encourage and support the people of Harpurhey in improving their community.
